Ann Smith Florist

Ann Smith Florist is an Inglewood tradition. On the corner of Gallatin Road and Shelton Avenue since 1959, the flower shop has employed three generations of the Smith family and has graciously served many thousands of locals in search of just the right gift for a loved one. Owner Myron Smith, a lifelong Inglewood resident, has been a leader in the community for many years and speaks with authority on Inglewood's glorious past, resurgent present, and bright future.

Sip Café

Katherine and Jack are Inglewood residents and founders of Sip Café in Riverside Village (at the corner of McGavock and Riverside in Inglewood). Jack, originally from Oregon, and Kathryn, originally from Georgia, moved to Nashville several years ago from Chicago. The couple settled in Inglewood because of the neighborhood’s affordability, as well as its “artsy” vibe. In opening Sip Café, the couple fulfilled their collective dreams of owning a friendly neighborhood coffee shop and being able to bicycle to work. Click play to hear the rest of their story.
